Its position allows excursions by bike and trekking in the natural landscapes of the rich moraine hills in the olive groves and vineyards, and on the bike path along the banks of the Mincio River that connects the city of Mantua to the town of Peschiera del Garda, as well as relaxing walks among the paths of the countryside. In the same town of Valeggio sul Mincio, one may visit the great works of the medieval fortification due to the Scaligeri and Visconti, as the imposing castle Scaligero in Valeggio overlooks the valley and the Visconti bridge built by Gian Galeazzo Visconti in 1300. At the foot of the Visconti Bridge is Borghetto, a small village, famous for its old mills. The farm is situated halfway between the Verona (28 km), rich in theaters and historical monuments, the Arena being the first among them, where during the summer the Arena Opera Festival is held, and the city of Mantua (26 km) foundation of the ancient Gonzaga family.
For those looking for entertainment the La Quercia farmhouse is located a few minutes from Lake Garda (5 km) with its many amusement parks such as Gardaland (9 km), Caneva World, Zoo Safari Park, Golf Club Paradiso Peschiera (4 km); the Thermal Baths of Garda (Villa dei Cedri 10 km) and its famous tourist locations.
The town of Valeggio and neighboring areas are also ideal for those seeking a holiday dedicated to food and wine, in fact they are very well known for their rich culinary tradition and wines that boast of DOCG among the most known and esteemed in Italy as the DOC of Bardolino, Custoza to Amarone della Valpolicella.
